Our F1 children and staff were so excited today to have the opportunity to meet some fire fighters, talk to them about what they wear and how it protects them. They even got to sit in the fire engine! Thank you so much to @SYFireAuthority @astreaacademies

Children across the school had a go at spotting the different types of birds that visit our school grounds. They loved trying to work out what each bird was using the pictures and descriptions. We've submitted our results to help @RSPBEngland

Our Y3/4 children took part in a Dragonball event alongside children from other schools in the Trust. It was a great experience for them and they all showed such enthusiasm. @astreaacademies

Our Y3/4 children have had an exciting couple of days learning how to make apple crumble; peeling and cutting apples, mixing ingredients to make the crumble; and then getting to taste it! We definitely have some bakers among our pupils! @astreaacademies #designtechnology
