Y6 Leaving Assembly

Our fantastic Y6s had their last assembly today! Children sang, played the piano and shared their memories of their time at Lower Meadow. It was a really special occasion, with special awards, a few tears and a lot of laughs. What a fantastic Year 6 you have all been!

Some of the contributions to our assembly:

Our Y6 Production!

Our fantastic Y6s performed the pantomime, “Aladdin Trouble” for the school on Monday with a full dress rehearsal and lots of enthusiasm. On Tuesday, they performed this for parents and carers and the feedback from everyone was simply fantastic. Every member of the team has helped with rehearsals, created props and scenery and even used their sewing skills to create some bloomers! Well done Y6!

Y6 Residential to Kingswood!

We had a fantastic time at Kingswood! The children had a brilliant time, worked really well together and really challenged themselves to try new activities and be brave. It was great to get such positive feedback from staff at the centre, as well as teachers from other schools, about how well-behaved and polite our children are. Here are a few photos from our visit – we will share more of these with you at our forthcoming parent event.

Our Delayed Summer Fair!

It was lovely to see so many parents, carers, children and staff at our fair tonight. Luckily, the weather was on our side and we could enjoy games, activities, cake and lots of fun. Our new school mascot, which was developed by our School Council, even made an appearance! Wearing a t-shirt featuring the winning design, our mascot danced and posed for photographs, including one with our local MP, Louise Haigh, who had stopped by for a visit!
