Challenge Sheet
Summer Term
English
We will be discovering all about writing quality stories. Learning about what makes the ideal plot, amazing characters and brilliant settings to hook our readers in.
Maths
We’ll be building our maths skills this half term with lots of money work to help with our money knowledge.
Children will have a great deal of hands on experience along with in depth looks at maths and money in action too.
If you are finding it all a bit perplexing…pop in and we can talk it all through to help. No problem.
Topic
This half term we’ll be taking a loo at the Normans in our History lessons and, in science, will be looking at how electricity helps us and what we’d do without it. Children will also have lots of practical, hands on, experiments in science with a creative twist to their history of the Normans.
P.E
We do two P.E sessions a week so having kit in school is so important. Struggling to find and sort this? Speak to Mr Jones he is in the know and can help. We’ll also be part of a wonderful project where we will be learning about healthy food and exercise.

Yes! As ever in class and outside we will be doing all kinds of activities, games and learning so we’ll be keeping you in touch with everything that will be happening and I will keep the website up to date to ensure you know what we are doing and when.
