SEND

Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) is Mrs Nicole Brown, who co-ordinates a team of people to provide additional support for our most vulnerable pupils. Her email address is: nicole.brown@astrealowermeadow.org

Our school has a SEND team consisting of SEND TA’s to support children who have been identified as having SEND as well as delivering interventions to help those requiring extra support with their learning.

Every half-term, we have a coffee morning which is open to all of our parents and carers where our SENDCo and other members of staff, such as our Safeguarding Lead (Poppy Brown) or Learning Mentor (Kaye Perri) will be available to chat to.

Our last SEND Coffee Morning of this academic year was on 13th June. There will continue to be SEND coffee mornings next year, dates will be in the July/August Newsletter.
